2 x Business Analysts required for a 6 months contract with our client, The Land Registry Office. These roles can be based at either Trafalgar House, Croydon or their offices in Peterborough.

**The client has stated that these roles are "IN" the new off pay-role worker legislation - Maximum day rates: £430 Umbrella / £380 for PSC - Deemed PAYE **

Role Purpose:
The Business Analyst is a trusted advisor to the business stakeholder and product owner. They provide independent and unbiased critical analysis with a focus on strategic alignment and the end to end business process. They are responsible for the quality and coverage of requirements across the programmes and projects they are assigned to, ensuring requirements align to the Business Architecture. They have the confidence and skills to influence and negotiate with stakeholders.

Main Duties:
* Responsible for analysing project change proposals to produce a clearly defined problem or opportunity statement, gathering input from all stakeholders.
* Responsible for stakeholder identification and analysis activities, ensuring internal and external stakeholder views are gathered and represented.
* Responsible for the analysis and evaluation of research outputs.
* Support the Product Owner in backlog production and refinement and be responsible for ensuring the quality, development and readiness of user stories.
* Responsible for eliciting and elaborating requirements to the appropriate level, facilitating workshops and ceremonies.
* Responsible for ensuring requirements are fit for purpose, agreed, documented and align with the definition of done.
* Responsible for identifying opportunities to add value by investigating 'as is' and 'to be' business functions / processes.
* Responsible for identifying potential changes to scope and escalating where appropriate.
* Responsible for communicating across teams and stakeholders to share analysis expertise, emerging practice, including advice on process design.
* Contributes to the definition of clear acceptance criteria.
* Contributes to production of impact assessments.

The role will inevitably involve some travelling to both Land Registry Offices and other locations which may include some overnight stays.

Security Clearance Level Required: BPSS with Enhanced Disclosure
