You live for technology.
You create and innovate.
You safeguard our nation.
MI6 is the UK's foreign human intelligence agency. In our world, sophisticated technology and innovative techniques enable global covert operations. These strengthen our approach to gathering secret intelligence overseas. And our culture is where creativity, curiosity, insight and intuition are used to face ever-evolving challenges. To ensure we remain ahead of the game, we're looking for the country's brightest Project and Programme Managers.
We've got an opportunity for you to join our world-class, forward-thinking and innovative team that's committed to helping us work in a more efficient way. With a real passion for bringing about change, you'll be responsible for delivering projects from conception through to operation.
You'll work in an ever-evolving environment, translating business needs into credible, achievable plans. With your expertise, you'll focus on creative ways of incorporating standards of performance, reliability and security. It's about leading and inspiring multi-disciplinary teams to work across the whole project life cycle. You won't only be helping to protect the nation - you'll also receive a tailored training plan to foster your talents, and be encouraged to take advantage of all the opportunities on offer.
To join us, you'll come with a successful track record as a Project Manager, with demonstrable experience of working on complex, large-scale improvement initiatives. An ambitious individual, you'll have a range of project management qualifications, which will be supported by membership of a professional body, such as the APM or PMI. Thanks to this, you'll have a thorough understanding of the project management life cycle. And with outstanding communication skills, you'll build great working relationships and work seamlessly across the business.
Our roles are as individual as you are.
To apply to MI6 you must be a born or naturalised British citizen, normally have been based in the UK for six of the last ten years. You should not discuss your application with anyone other than your partner or a close family member providing that they are British. They should also be made aware of the importance of discretion.
