A well established company who produce premium quality loudspeakers with over 40 years of technical excellence are looking for a Project Manager.

A Project Manager with an engineering background is key. The ideal candidate will have previous working experience in a project management or management role. Strong knowledge of Microsoft project and other project management software is considered essential.

Job Description:

  • Managing the overall project management functions of the business Continual improvement of comprehensive workflow processes for new projects.

  • Responsible for tracking project changes and producing weekly updates Monitor and modify project schedules as assigned.

  • Maintaining document control, database management, track project activities and team communication.

  • Working with the project teams to understand and assist with tracking all work, task, and project assignments.

  • Maintaining individual calendars, task lists and resource allocation.

  • Coordinate regular R&D meetings and produce minutes/ action reports as required

  • Ensure efficient coordination of our acoustic, product design (U.K based) with engineering, project management and vendors based in China. Coordination with other groups within the business such as Q.A and Production and purchasing

  • Managing the design brief and financial planning process of new projects Ensure adherence to deadlines Responsible for file management for all project documents (hard and soft copies)

  • May be required to travel to China from time to time as required to collaborate with our China team/ P.M and vendor factories.

Qualifications and personal requirements:

  • Degree level education in an engineering based subject (preferred)

  • Qualified with recognised certification such as; Prince2

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a product manufacturing/engineering environment

  • Proficient with project management software. A long working experience with Microsoft Project is essential.

  • Technically competent with various software programs, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.

  • Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.

  • Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities

  • Reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently

  • Strong motivational personality

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Adept at conducting research into project-related issues and products

  • Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial
