I am currently recruiting an Interim Mechanical and Electrical Project Manager for a 6 month interim contract with a national service provider. This truly autonomous and interesting assignment will see the Interim Mechanical and Electrical Project Manager delivering elements of the £30M Capex project that are planned across the next 3 years. There is significant longevity, and a potential permanent contract with this opportunity.
My client is a leading service provider. They currently have demand across their MOD and MOJ contracts to have an experienced Interim Mechanical and Electrical Project Manager in the Gloucester / Swindon area, joining their Projects Team. A friendly and dynamic team, that encourage a culture of autonomy and results orientated behaviour.
The job is to complete M&E projects, some new build, some refurbishments and other M&E projects across a range of contracts in Gloucester / Swindon for my client, a service provider, on a varied portfolio. There is a significant number of capex projects being undertaken at the moment, so this role will also be involved with working the projects team to help work through the programme of works. As with all roles that fall within the estates function, there is significant responsibility to liaise and work with the internal and external stakeholders, when completing project and surveying work.
The successful candidate would be an experienced Interim Mechanical and Electrical Project Manager, who simply put would be a highly experienced, mechanically or electrically qualified and have experience of delivering M&E projects. Who is a team player and can fundamentally be left alone to Project Manage individual projects and help deliver the programme of works with the rest of the projects team. The Interim Mechanical and Electrical Project Manager must be able to commute to the Gloucester / Swindon area on a daily basis. The portfolio is varied, so any experience of working on a grade list / historic buildings would be advantageous. The internal and external stakeholder engagement is absolutely crucial. Again, as the programme of works is across some MOD and MOJ sites, any experience within these environments would also be highly advantageous.
The daily rate s dependant upon the experience. However, in addition to a competitive daily rate, this role will will provide this Interim Mechanical and Electrical Project Manager with the opportunity to work on a.number of contracts and be involved on a significant capex programme. Furthermore, the line manager is in a position to allow the Interim Mechanical and Electrical Project Manager to simply get on with the projects. Autonomy, a competitive daily rate and a interesting range of projects to work on.
