Ensuring project management standards in the department are being maintained, your knowledge of procedures, tools and techniques will ensure appropriate methodologies are being consistently applied for the best results.
Defining how projects should develop, you will share your expert guidance with colleagues to support the successful delivery of objectives. Taking ownership of a subset of projects, you will sometimes need to be involved at a detailed level and at other times provide strategic direction. Throughout, you will be tasked with analysing the data you have collected, taking responsibility for specific areas of the service and implementing the best processes. To thrive in this role you will either be a PRINCE2 Practitioner, an APM Registered Project Professional or you will have a degree in Project and Programme Management. With the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, your outstanding communication skills will be called into practice as you manage the needs of stakeholders.
