Age UK Leeds is a leading local voluntary sector organisation providing high quality services to improve the health and wellbeing of older people in Leeds.
This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join our Senior Management Team to lead the development and delivery of our operational services ensuring they continue to deliver excellent client focussed services.
Salary £ 33,437 + pension / 37 Hours per week
As the Operations Director you will be responsible for providing leadership to the operational services, delivering clear direction, supervision and performance management. As a member of the SMT you will contribute to the strategic development of Age UK Leeds and help shape the culture and core values.
The successful candidate will have the ability to work to tight deadlines, prioritise conflicting work loads and delegate effectively. S/he will have a good understanding of the needs and aspirations of older people and an awareness of relevant health and social policy.
A demonstrable track record of managing and monitoring performance to meet organisational objectives and delivery quality services is essential for this post.
