Cambridgeshire County Council and Peterborough City Council are embarking on an ambitious shared programme of change that will enable us to respond to the increasingly complex landscape in which local government is operating, and maximise all of the opportunities that are available across both authority areas and beyond. This programme will build on some of the major steps already taken across the two organisations to do this, and we are now looking to recruit three brilliant Project Managers to work as part of a newly established team that will deliver a range of large-scale change projects across the two organisations.
These are exciting roles that would suit someone looking for a new challenge and an opportunity to have a positive influence on the delivery of future public services. You will be able to utilise your extensive project management skills, including a range of tools and practices, to successfully deliver a number of projects across different areas of the business. You will be experienced in working with a range of people at all levels to deliver results, and will be skilled in navigating the complexities that delivering projects across two organisations will present.
This role is a brilliant opportunity to be involved in developing the future of the local government landscape in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, and to work across two exciting and dynamic organisations which are both committed to delivering great public services and outcomes for people and communities.
You will be an excellent Project Manager with the ability to design and manage a number of projects across a range of business areas.
You will have a sound understanding of a range of project management tools and methodologies and practices, and experience in utilising these to deliver results.
You will be able to both work independently and establish and sustain highly effective relationships at all levels across different teams / sectors in order to deliver excellent outcomes and results.
