Project Delivery Manager
The future is exciting. Are you ready to join our Enterprise Operations as our next Project Delivery Manager?
You will deliver Fixed Line Voice and Data rationalisation projects as defined in our Strategic Roadmap. These can be complex projects of variable risk and complexity on behalf of Vodafone for our customers to time, cost and quality, in order to achieve the expected benefits by key stakeholders. The projects are truly end to end understanding the product / customer landscape, preparation of strategies and sales collateral, support of customer transformation conversations, cleansing of networks, inventory, billing and provisioning systems, closure of infrastructure and applications.
Ensure the project is established, executed and closed following standard company governance
Responsible for documentation of outputs, analysis and tools used in project activity
Manage handover of deliverables to operations ensuring skills and knowledge transfer.
At all times ensuring there is an effective Risk Mitigation and Issue management process in place
Clarifies the skill requirements of a Project and builds a team capable of managing that project
Defines clear Roles & Responsibilities and reporting relationships for stakeholders on the project and provides performance feedback
Manages delivery scope and resolves deviation
Provides accurate and timely communication and reporting to the relevant stakeholders, escalating where required
An understanding of fixed line networks, underlying network technologies and the different enabling functions including technology, IT, Product Management and Operations
Strong project governance and appropriate use of control mechanisms to ensure excellent customer outcomes
Experience liaising with the sales community and understanding of channel complexity and customer types
Experience of delivering solutions and services to customers
The ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships
Manage and form good relationships with 3rd party partner suppliers
Operational & process level experience of delivering fixed, mobile and converged solutions
Strong risk mitigation approach
