ICT Project Manager

Kerry Foods based in Burton-On-Trent, Staffordshire, East Midlands have a brand new role to join their team due to the growth of the business over the last few months. We require a professional, experienced and passionate ICT Project Manager who can work at pace and be rewarded in turn with an attractive remuneration package. This is a varied role - working with a variety of stakeholders / functions with a real chance to learn and develop and gain cross functional skills across the full project lifecycle.
Initially a 12 month contract, this job will be part of the Kerry Foods ICT department. This role will manage a set of core ICT projects for the business ensuring that each project follows the appropriate project methodology. This job would suit someone who has previous experience of working within a fast paced environment. You will gain fantastic exposure across our business within Ireland and the UK.
Please note that travel is a requirement within this role and will be project dependant.
The successful candidate for this role will have strong planning and project management skills backed up by demonstrable start to finish experience in project delivery. Technical ICT experience is desirable but not a prerequisite.
Description and Responsibilities
Responsibilities of the Role:
Management of global, regional and local projects from start up to delivery, with varying levels of complexity.
Ensuring that projects are delivered on time, on budget to the agreed quality.
Supporting the business where necessary - training, coaching, sharing ways of working.
Schedule project tasks, track progress and manage issues to ensure project commitment dates and project deliverables are met.
Manage project communications to all project stakeholders ensuring that all are informed of project status.
Work cross-functionally and represent Kerry Foods at business meetings internally and externally.
Ensure all relevant documentation is kept up to date.
University Degree in a relevant subject
Project Management qualification e.g. Prince 2
Demonstrable track record in Project Management throughout the full project lifecycle (must be able to show experience in budgeting, project planning, scheduling, issue tracking/remediation, risk analysis, etc.)
Experience in using Microsoft Project or other project management software tool
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
High level of communication skills
Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate teams is a must
Ability to negotiate and manage through conflict / ambiguity.
Ability to identify and implement process and/or application improvements
Must be able to work on multiple simultaneous tasks with limited supervision
