St Michael le Belfrey Church in the centre of the beautiful city of York is planning a major re-ordering and is seeking an experienced, professional Project Manager to drive this forward. The Vision of the project (called Impact) is to renew and enhance the 16th century church building in order to inspire and enable 21st century worship and mission, meet the needs of the people we serve and assist God’s plan to transform the North of England from the heart of Yorkshire. The Project Manager shall adopt a central role, managing the project day to day and being accountable for achieving the project objectives to cost, time and quality parameters. They shall have responsibilities ranging from supplier management to communicating with stakeholders, shall be required to represent the client’s interests and be held to account by the Project Board. Initial fixed term of one year but anticipated to lead to three years’ employment subject to project funding, contract to expire upon project completion.
