Do you have good leadership and project planning skills? Can you specify and create project work packages and direct project staff to deliver a project's benefits on time and on budget? Can you evidence managing project risks and issues as they arise? If so, we are interested in hearing from you.
DCC ICT Services have a vacancy for three temporary project managers skilled and experienced in delivering successful, complex IT projects. The posts range from 12 to 18 months. The posts will manage one or more projects.
Each of the three post holders will manage projects in one of the following areas:
• Improving our Microsoft Office 365 service for DCC staff. Experience of using SharePoint, Teams and OneNote or other Office365 products would be an advantage. This is a 12-month contract.
• Improving our security capabilities for DCC’s Microsoft platform. Experience in this area would be an advantage. This is a 12-month contract.
• Improving DCC’s use of data and intelligence. Experience in this area would be an advantage. This is an 18-month contract.
The post holders will define projects, create and maintain project plans and communications plans, create and manage a variety of technical and non-technical work packages, and co-ordinate technical and non-technical staff. You will work closely with IT teams, suppliers and business areas.
All the projects have funding agreed and in place.

An experience of IT project management would be an advantage.
