About The Role

  • Assist with leading , inginfluencing and motivating HS2 subject matter experts assigned to the project teams and assist with driving the process improvements and methodology
  • Support the Project Manager in collaborating with teams embedded within our delivery partners to deliver the project scope
  • Monitor, improve, validate and advise on the programme with regards to time, cost, resources, quality and safety
  • Assist with managing business and project risks, including the development of contingency plans through appropriate risk management/mitigation strategies
  • Assure that the management of health, safety and security by the appointed supply chain meets the required standard by arrangements to continually monitor, review and address HS&S performance with the supplier
  • Assimilate, manage and present complex information to prioritise requirements through workshops
  • With the support of Commercial and the Project Manager, manage works information and administer an NEC3 form of contract dealing with variations and compensation events with accountability for project governance and ensuring that project scope is closely managed
  • Managing process of project reporting for all technical resources assigned to the project
  • It is expected that you will actively promote and embed Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) in all your work and support and comply with all organisational initiatives, policies and procedures on EDI

About You

  • Project management experience supported by a suitable qualification
  • Experience of governance and assurance activities
  • Experience of collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
  • Knowledge of contract management
