Alice Jenkins
People CoordinatorI am the People Coordinator here at APM, assisting will all aspects of HR for the organisation. That can mean dealing with our recruitment, learning and development, general HR support and much more. I joined APM at the beginning of 2025 after having experienced working with the organisation before as a supplier, and absolutely loved the sound of the culture.
APM is an incredibly welcoming organisation with a great induction process to welcome you to the team. My first impression was that I was blown away by how friendly everyone is and really impressed by the opportunities for learning and development. APM is really unique, I've never worked in a larger organisation that had such nice people where everyone is willing to help you.
My favourite thing about working at APM is the lovely culture coupled with the fact that it's a non-profit organisation, meaning that everything we make goes back to the project management community and makes a real impact.
If I could describe the culture in five words it would be:
- Warm
- People-centred
- Empowering
- Purpose-driven
- Inclusive

We’re Association for Project Management (APM). We’re a professional membership organisation that sets the standards for the project profession. As a registered charity, we reinvest our surplus for the benefit of our members and the profession.
We deliver education and develop qualifications. We conduct research and provide knowledge and resources. We run events and share best practice. We give people the opportunity to connect and provide community for our individual members and corporate partners, wherever they are. Above all, when doing so makes a difference, we challenge the status quo.
