Our ambition is for RYA’s digital capabilities to give members and other stakeholders more reasons to stay engaged with the RYA and support the RYA brand.

The RYA is entering a period of Digital Transformation – replacing the existing infrastructure with a modern platform that will enable the RYA to make a series of step changes in capability, specifically in our ability to deliver personalised experiences to create more meaningful points of engagement.  

We are seeking an experienced IT Transformation Project Manager to lead this project to success!  As the Project Manager, your duties will include (but are not limited to);

• Working with the implementation partner to develop and evolve a robust delivery plan with associated milestones, dependencies and actions.  Ensuring delivery in line with agreed objectives, principles, timescales and budget;
• Providing timely reporting on project performance and progress, ensuring risks and issues (together with proposed mitigations) are escalated promptly;
• Ensuring the project has the time and resources available to deliver, with overall control and governance of the project and continual scrutiny;
• Being the operational point of contact for internal stakeholders, ensuring clear, appropriate and timely communication is maintained throughout the project lifecycle;
• Being the operational point of contact for the management and liaison with the external delivery partners and vendor platform partner; and
• Developing change plans for the roll-out of any new processes or solutions.

Our ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate experience of; working with modern experience platforms (Web and omnichannel CRM); working with complex organisations with a variety of stakeholders; managing budgets; and working with Agile methodology. 

You should also have knowledge of digital technology/web-based systems and PRINCE2® Practitioner or Association for Project Management accreditation. 

The successful candidate should be able to start at the end of January 2020.
