Project Manager

Overall responsibility for Transition Program from Construction Phase to IFM Operations: Mechanical Services/Corporate Services for the below areas

Facilities, Site Building Services Maintenance Program., Property management., Project management., Innovation/Best Known Methods/Operational Excellence

The Transition Manager will develop relationships with, and be highly effective at communicating with clients at all levels
Procurement, Design and Contract Management/Financial Control from Construction phase to handover to sustaining operations
Liaising with sustaining team/EMEA Network on sustaining lessons learned that assist with smooth handover equipment/ Architectural decision making
Support Client on reviewing and documenting install quality (Verification that installations are well built/installed and will operate in a Manufacturing Facility).
Design / Product selection support from a Sustaining perspective (Sustaining Cost, Reliability, Compliance, Operational Excellence).
The Transition Manager will also work with the EMEA Operations Manager and Site IFM Lead on the development and innovation in the strategy for the growth of the Operations offering from the IFM Provider
Manage Change Control Request Program from design of scope to approval with EMEA Leads and Client.
He/she will work closely with business development and operations teams to co-ordinate a comprehensive offering and project delivery which maximises client benefit and which maintains profitability for the business
The candidate will also have a proven ability to lead, motivate and direct teams towards a common goal


Duties & Responsibilities

  • EHS Compliance
  • Preparing, maintaining and submitting the reports and records to the Client and IFM team
  • A stable financial position should be maintained for the operation of the facility.
  • Exercising sound fiscal management practices.
  • Manage projects for the site when required
  • Innovation on current scope – key client request

Skills

  • Have a background in facilities management.
  • Soft service experience and a track record of great work.
  • Previous experience of managing people preferable.
  • IT Skills – MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
  • Strong administration, organizational, documentation and analytical skills.
  • Excellent Problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work within a team.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Self-starter
  • Motivated individual
  • “Can do” attitude
  • Hands on Manager

Experience

  • 8 plus years Project/Commissioning/Handover Manager Site Operations
  • Engineering Degree, and/or business qualification, or equivalent

Qualifications

  • Candidate to have a business, facilities management or technical qualification.
  • Engineering Degree, and/or business qualification, or equivalent
  • Proven track record in project management and project financial appraisal
  • Ability to develop and specify engineering/Operational solutions
  • Six Sigma/Lean Methods qualification an advantage
