A unique company offering revolutionary refrigeration technologies are looking for a Project Manager to look after their engineering and manufacturing projects.

They have a huge focus on reducing climate change by creating innovative new technologies to combat the use of fossil fuels and have got an international reputation for innovation and engineering excellence.

The role

As Project Manager you’ll look after engineering and manufacturing projects and related operations. You’ll be working with and coordinating functions across the business to deliver products to market and establish aftermarket support. This is a core role for the company as you’ll really be leading on strategy and planning for various projects

Responsibilities include:

  • Deliver projects in line with business project plans
  • Monitor and report on project progress, budgets, and timing
  • Schedule and lead project meetings
  • Review and adjust project plans
  • Lead on projects internally - you’ll be the person stakeholders come to about these projects
  • Build relationships with internal stakeholders to meet internal expectations
  • On-time delivery of project milestones
  • Manage project processes - communicate and lead on any changes in a controlled way
  • Liaise with other business functions
  • Publish and update programme reports

The requirements

You will have at least 5 years’ Project or Engineering experience in a company focused on engineering or manufacturing, as well as…

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar engineering/manufacturing discipline
  • Project Management qualifications desirable but not essential
  • Passionate about project management in an engineering environment
  • Strong experience managing projects to targets
  • Proven track record delivering manufacturing/engineering projects
  • Knowledge of the automotive sector ideal
  • Comfortable with managing change
  • Strong computer literacy (Microsoft Office suite)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Able to communicate at all levels
  • Service-orientated and focused on customer satisfaction
  • Able to use MS Dynamic is desirable but not essential
