Haughey Recruitment are delighted to be partnering exclusively with a hugely successful specialist infrastructure client based in Mid Ulster, who are experiencing a period of unprecedented growth due to multi million pounds worth of contract wins.

They are seeking experienced Project Managers, ideally coming from a Telecoms / Utilities background to join their team on a permanent basis.

Reporting to the Head of Engineering, as Project Manager you be responsible for delivering a high-quality job on build programme, working with supervisors to coordinate all project disciplines.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing & organising the various project work streams to ensure a successful project delivery.
  • Working closely with the Head of Engineering & Technical Operations Director
  • Ensure all best practises for health and safety are being followed.
  • Delivery of projects on budget and to schedule.
  • Overseeing & organising the various project work streams to ensure a successful project delivery.
  • Participating in preparation of necessary documents for inclusion on tender submissions, including site visits
  • Produce accurate, consistent, and professional records, reports and general information.
  • Manage and coordinate co workers &sub-contractors.
  • Provide labour costing for various projects to determine feasibility and profitability.
  • Supervise and coach staff as and when development is required.
  • Produce reports on job progress.

Education / Experience:

  • Previous experience of running projects over £10m.
  • Commercially aware with extensive knowledge of all disciplines involved in the telecommunications sector
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage client relationships, strong planning and organisation skills.
  • Proven ability of working on several projects simultaneously.
  • In-depth knowledge of Health & Safety and other regulatory matters.
  • IT literate with a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
  • Flexible and positive approach to working hours and various locations throughout the UK and Ireland.
