My client is one of the world's leading suppliers of machines to the chocolate, confectionery and snack industries. Around 80% of their products are being exported to more than 80 countries world-wide. As a business they also supply new as well as used and rebuilt machinery.
Based in Gainsborough, they have moved into a new purpose built manufacturing site which covers all the modern facilities required for the businesses continued growth.
Due to growth of the business my client is seeking to add a Graduate Engineering Project Manager to their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a high calibre Graduate Engineering Project Manager to work alongside highly experienced Engineering team based in Gainsborough.
This position would be suitable for a Graduate Engineering Project Manager who is seeking to be nurtured and developed within a forward thinking and growing company

THE ROLE:
In time the role of the Project Manager will be responsible for the end to end management of projects to contracted time, quality, and budget requirements.
This will involve the leadership of a distributed project and working within a team in multiple locations.
The proactive identification, management and resolution of risks and issues throughout the full project life cycle.
This will involve Managing the delivery team for single large-scale project or multiple smaller projects.
This is a client facing role and requires the ability to build strong relationships with customers, often at all levels.

Delivery Management
*Manage the delivery of your project/s through the full project life cycle, from initiation through to implementation.
*Develop and maintain an end to end project plan that delivers the agreed scope of the project to time, budget and quality criteria.
*Provide timely, precise, accurate and comprehensive project reports and updates to the Technical manager and Board.
*Identify and manage risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies through the full project life cycle. Ensure mitigation plans are in place for all risks and issues and take ownership for ensuring these mitigation plans are executed or escalate to the Technical manager.
*Ensure all 3rd party suppliers are engaged appropriately, and contracts are in place and managed to ensure the required outcomes.
*Ensure the project conducts a post implementation review and that lessons learned are captured and shared with the rest of the PM community.

Be Part of a Team that:
*Lead, manage and motivate in multiple geographic locations, communicating project progress, and ensuring you take accountability for your delivery
*Culture of continuous improvement on projects, support process improvement initiatives, and identify new process improvements.
*Be an active member of the PM community, contributing to team sessions and central improvement initiatives, and sharing best practice and lessons learned.

THE CANDIDATE:
*First Class Honours Degree, Masters, MBA or equivalent.
*Concept to Commissioning of multiple Engineering projects.
*Dealing with 3rd party suppliers.
*Dealing with resource consultants.
*Delivery of business-critical projects, preferably with in an Engineering environment.
*Leadership skills.
*Self-starter, able to work independently.
*Communication skills and capable of working with customers and internal staff.
*Managing stakeholders across the business and externally.
*Proficient in the use of Microsoft project.

THE BENEFITS:
*Full Time hours, Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 4,30pm and Friday 7.30am to 3.30pm
*Pension scheme
*Salary up to £25,000 dependant on experience
