An exciting career opportunity has become available for an experienced Order Project Manager to join an award-winning market disruptor and technology innovator in the telecommunications, cloud, data centre and networking sector. As a customer facing Project Manager, you will take ownership of managing the delivery of customer orders on-time and within scope, requirements and budget.
The Project & Order Manager will be the main point of contact for customers, 3rd party suppliers and internal stakeholders throughout the lifecycle of the project. You will work closely with sales and the customer to understand the solution proposal, initialling the project kick-off meeting and managing the handover from sales. You will create project plans, ensure documentation is in place and follow company processes in managing and delivering projects.
As the Customer Project Manager, you will:
* Manage the implementation of customer orders from start to finish.
* Lead the project team to ensure milestones are reached, project schedules are on track and within defined scope.
* Ensure processes are correctly followed and all project documentation is kept up to date.
* Provide reporting and timely updates to both the business and customer.
* Manage project risks and issues, dealing with any escalations and problems.
* Ensure completed orders are sent through to the correct channels for billing and handover to BAU.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience working as an order manager, project manager, senior project coordinator or similar service delivery / provisioning role. Candidates must have experience in delivering telecommunications projects, ideally circuits based on IP, Optical and Ethernet technologies.
Candidates should possess good organisational skills coupled with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
