My Client based in Kent is currently recruiting for a hands on Project Manager who will also be heavily involved in Fire alarm Commissioning. This role is perfect for a Project Manager (or Supervisor etc looking for a step up) who still likes to be involved in the hands on sides of things.

Ideally you will be based in London, Kent or Essex.

This is a role for a FIRE AND SECURITY company and you must have at least 4 years industry experience to be considered for this role.

The role:

  • Project manage installations on large construction sites
  • Commissioning of both conventional and addressable fire alarm systems, install and maintain where required
  • Complete training courses provided to improve knowledge
  • Deliver projects on time, within budget whilst providing a high end, professional service
  • Report to Senior Project Manager
  • Assisting sales on Fire Design
  • Communicate and build successful relationships with employees and customers
  • Make sure all projects are completed, fully complying with CDM and other relevant regulations and standards
  • Producing and issuing RAMS, risk assessments, method statements, toolbox talks etc

The person:

  • Experienced Project Manager or Service Manager etc
  • MUST HAVE Fire and Security Industry experience - applications without this will be refused
  • Experience within the construction environment
  • Proven project planning and scheduling experience
  • Ability to carry out site surveys
  • Confidence to negotiate, ambitious and dynamic
  • Highly literate with an attention to detail.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Project, Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Must be a team player with ambition!
  • SMSTS and ECS
  • Full Driving license
