Excellent opportunity for operations manager/ asset manager to join a leading power generation company where you will be given full autonomy and have the chance to stamp you mark on this impressive company.

The main focus of this role is to oversee O&M contracting and manage all site related owner obligations with regards to safe and efficient operation and long term asset management of projects.

You will also manage operational reporting and manage relationships with energy off takers to ensure contractual obligations are met and revenues maximised.

The ideal candidate will be degree qualified, have a background in power generation and have experience of asset management.

The role:

*Managing the operations of the CHP biomass CHP plant.
*Oversee operations, maintenance and long term asset management of the biomass CHP plant.
*Manager operation and maintenance contracts.
*Ensuring operator contractual obligation are being fulfilled.
*Assist general manager in setting of operating and finical budgets for the plants.
*Report to the general manager on project performance, advise and matters arising.

The person

*Have experience working within the power generation industry, ideally biomass/ thermal.
*Have advanced Excel skills.
*Experience in the asset management of high value Plants and equipment, as well as operations and maintenance management.
*Ideally have boiler and rotating plant operation or maintenance experience.
*Have experience of setting and management of operation and financial budgets.
*Degree qualified.
*Experience in contract management.
