Technical Project Manager

12month FTC

Up to £50,000

There’s few better feelings than when an infrastructure project goes live without a hitch, right?

Unfortunately we all know, however, that doesn’t always happen.

When it doesn’t happen, it’s common that there often isn’t a ‘Plan B’ in place.

This is where you, our new Technical Project Manager, will come in.

We want someone who is able to come up with action plans, see issues arising and resolve them before they come up. You’ll be working on a host of projects over the next 12 months including data centre migrations, integration projects and virtualisation upgrades to name just a few.

As a Technial Project Manager, it is expected that you will have sound infrastructure knowledge. You don’t need to be hands-on necessarily but we are hoping that you will be bringing a detailed understanding of infrastructure technologies in to this role (think Azure, VMWare, Horizon, Cisco UCS).

This is a critical role within the business and within a new infrastructure team, therefore everyone’s sleeves are rolled up and your should be too.

As with most PM roles, you will expect a healthy mix of stakeholder management, resource allocation, innovating solutions and hitting milestones.

This role is a fixed term contract for a period of 12 months. Work will be both remote and on-site, however because of the need to potentially come in to the office on short notice, North West candidates are strongly preferred (particuarly as the location is just outside of Manchester).

If you’ve got a CV, please send it through.

If you don’t, let’s have a chat and see where it goes.
