The Engineering Design Project Manager role is a truly unique opportunity to redesign and build a number of flagship facilities on one campus for a successful and growing organisation. This is a significant project for the company as they continue to showcase their innovation and stand out as the market leader.
The Engineering Design Project Manager will take lead responsibility for the design, specification of capital equipment and facility.
You must be able to combine both the mechanical, electrical and IT elements of the project to create a building that is technically unique, efficient in its operation and stands as a physical statement of architecture.
You will need to re-design standard process machinery and specify and implement software to automate and simplify product flow through the facility. The system must provide data and demonstrate process control to customers. The resultant facility should advance the state of the industry and be world beating when audited by customers.
There is also a need for the project management for the replacement and upgrade programs within their existing plants in Lincolnshire and the need for other large facility projects to deliver their long term growth plans.
The ideal Engineering Design Project Manager will be / have:
- Degree Qualified Mechanical / Electrical Engineer
- Strong IT capability
- System design / integration and Capital Purchase experience
- Project Management qualified
- Factory build or extension project experience
- Able to be a Collaborator with the existing management team
- Able to create proposals to present and sell to the Board
- Willingness to spend time working in India on their development project (Up to 3months)
