Senior Project Manager
Reference number: A1441120
Location: Flexible
Salary: Starting at £30,817 to £34,471 Per Annum
Hours: Full time
Contract: 3 Years

Our client exists to respond to the climate and nature emergency crisis we currently face with urgency and determination to save nature and to inspire and empower others to do the same.

Their vision for England is a country richer in nature where wild birds and other wildlife are no longer declining. Nature will be being restored and enriching people's lives. We will have a world that guarantees future generations clean air and water, a stable climate, rich and varied wildlife and a robust and sustainable economy.

This is a great opportunity for a strategic, driven and talented Senior Project Manager to join the organisation's England Project Management Team. The successful candidate will be pivotal in delivering a diverse portfolio of projects within (mainly) central and eastern England. Projects will range from infrastructure and habitat projects on the charity's nature reserves and in the wider landscape through to species recovery projects and community-based initiatives.

You will have extensive project management skills, knowledge and experience to lead successful project teams to ensure the effective and efficient development and delivery of England's priority projects.

As a key advocate of project management, you will have the passion and enthusiasm needed to embed best practice project management in all of our projects across England.

Strong interpersonal and communications skills are essential as you build relationships with colleagues across the organisation and external partners and the public to achieve success in projects.

Excellent attention to detail, organisation skills and time management are essential attributes, alongside a logical and methodical way of working.

The team is dispersed across England, yet connected and supportive. This will require you to work to your own initiative with clear priorities and work programmes established. You will be required to work flexibly on projects in various locations, but this role will predominantly lead on projects in central and eastern England, with a requirement to travel regularly (when safe to do so). You will have the flexibility to work from home or from any number of offices (again, when safe to do so).

This role is a 3 year fixed term position with the possibility of the role being made permanent at the end of the fixed term period.
