Electric Project Manager (EV, STOR)

National ICP that deals with connections on to Electric, Gas and water networks. Are looking for Project Managers With electric connections experience.

The role
Project management of HV / LV installation and construction activities
Client liaison and attendance at meetings
Managing the work of sub-contractors on site
Ensuring adherence to Health & Safety

Key duties and responsibilities;
oTo deliver Connections on time and within budget
o Maintain financial control of projects throughout using correct procedures.
o Develop Construction Method Statements and prepare site instruction.
o Carry out Risk Assessments and safety audits as required
o Ensure all works are carried out to DNO specifications.
o Carry out all works in line with company policies and procedures
o Liaise with other staff / client to ensure all targets and key milestones are met.
o Ensure that the legal completion for their individual projects is being monitored.
o To provide and feedback relevant KPI information as required.
o To hold all current relevant authorisations and certification related to the project before personnel can carry out the works.

The Person
Experience in managing projects involving LV/ HV cables and/or substations, with a track record of safe, timely and profitable delivery
Previous experience as a Project Manager or Senior Authorised Person (SAP) for major electrical schemes : nuclear, HV, National Grid (132kV : 400kV), Distribution Network Operator (DNO), Independent Connections Provider (ICP) / new connections
Qualifications in Electrical Engineering, NEBOSH, BESC, substation entry (desirable)
Knowledge and experience of NEC contracts
