Our client is looking for a Project Manager to specifically work on a wide range of client based projects, some examples would be client buy-in/outs, scheme mergers, change projects and internal client management process implementation.

In addition they may be tasked with helping on scheme implementations. Pension knowledge would be highly preferable.

This role could be based at our clients offices in: Reading, Wokingham, Middlesbrough, Newcastle, Leeds, or Bristol.

  • The client management team is comprised of client relationship managers of varying experience who require the support of an experienced project manager to assist with the delivery of administration projects.
  • As a project manager, your areas of responsibility will include providing PM support for existing clients for ad-hoc projects as they arise.
  • Due to the changing nature of the business, the job holder may from time to time be required to undertake other activities of a similar nature that fall within their capabilities.


Job Requirements
 

  • Project Management experience from concept to implementation.
  • Experience of having worked in pensions industry a distinct advantage
  • Ideally qualified to degree level or equivalent, candidates with strong A Level qualifications (or equivalent qualifications) who possess relevant experience will be considered.
  • Prince 2 Practitioner qualification beneficial.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills.
  • Strong Stakeholder management skills
  • Strong written, verbal and presentation skills to all levels
  • Ability to multi-task and respond to changing priorities.
  • Able to take ownership and responsibility for own work.
  • IT proficient in MS Office.
  • Ability to create and manage documentation.
  • Flexible approach to work pressures.
  • Good problem solving skills.
  • A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail in documentation.
  • Strong belief in adhering to deadlines and quality service.
  • Effective interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and build long term working relationships at all levels, both internal and external of the organisation.
  • Able to recognise the need for a customer focused approach to their delivery both in terms of quality and exceeding customer expectations
