One of the UK leaders in financial analytics is about to embark on an exciting and sustained period of growth, thanks to significant recent investment and new partnerships.

 

As part of this scale, they are looking to hire a Technical Project Manager to join their finance team and help accelerate the delivery of their strategic roadmap. You would be responsible for defining, implementing and continuously improving a best-practice business analysis and design process for the company platform, and managing projects to deliver a platform that meets the functional needs and requirements of their clients and partners. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Process & implementation ownership – lead, define, plan and deliver the set of business analysis processes and artefacts required to enable technical development of the software that aligns with the functional needs of their clients and partners.
  • Expertise & best practice – leverage your experience to steer, advise and secure buy-in from the CTO & Software Delivery Director on best practice for software product design and implementation.
  • Product Delivery – working with the Product Owners and the Development team, apply your industry knowledge of software product design to proactively address the functional challenges relevant to the company and to deliver the necessary change.
  • Stakeholder engagement – build productive relationships with the relevant stakeholders in the business to build buy-in and ensure they have the best foundations and direction for their product design approach.
  • Quality assurance –They aim to embed QA into the product from the initial design. Your role will be to ensure that the product design outputs are fit for purpose, meet defined criteria for performance and that the software functions according to client and partner expectations. 

 

Qualifications

  • Experience in web-based software product feature delivery within a structured delivery team environment, from initial design through to testing and implementation.
  • Experience in analysing complex business requirements and translating them into a coherent functional model suitable for the development team to understand and deliver.
  • Experience in defining a suitable operating model to ensure successful delivery of user requirements into the final product.
  • Working rapidly and effectively on individual projects, and as part of a team.
  • Presenting ideas, opinions, designs & plans and achieving buy-in from a broad set of stakeholders.
  • A genuine passion for new ideas and technology excellence.
