Description

Role Profile

The Project Management Degree Apprenticeship is a five year scheme within BAE Systems Shared Services. Through a series of rotational work placements, you will learn and demonstrate skills required to successfully manage our complex projects and programmes including; communication, schedule management, budgeting and cost control, stakeholder management, risk management and project governance.

What Does The Apprenticeship Involve?

Working in Project Management means you will be the eyes and ears of a given project, ensuring it is delivered on time, to cost and of the required quality. You will gain a broad view across the project and will be able to demonstrate the elements needed to make it a success. This depends on understanding the big picture, recognising the key issues, making effective decisions and driving actions to their conclusion. The Degree apprenticeship in Project Management will develop and test all of these skills.

What Qualification Will You Get?

To complement your work based training as part of this scheme, you will study for your degree in Project Management at an external providers’ facility. In addition, you will also gain the APMPMQ qualification from the Association of Project Management.

How Will I Be Rewarded?

We offer a starting salary of £18,000 with increases throughout the scheme, depending on performance and behaviours. You will also gain access to the Company pension and share saving schemes.
