The Project Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of operational, technical, commercial and service-related projects. These projects include the mapping of processes and IT systems, delivering improvements through process analysis and change, and IT systems election and implementation.
Theinitialprojectswillspecificallyinvolvetheconsolidationofoperationalprocesses,and the planning, implementation, and training of commercial off-the-shelf(OTS)software. The software is likely to cover CRM, ERP, Financial, WMS and specialist logistics applications. The role will initially focus on the introduction of a new specialist logistics solution, with the long-term ambition of delivering continuous improvements across the organisation.
Key Criteria/ Requirements:
·Project management qualifications such as PRINCE2/MSPorAgile.
·5+ years’ experience in project management.
·Proven track record of planning and managing large scale projects from start to finish.
·Proven track record in coordinating cross functional teams.
·Demonstrable familiarity with AGILE principles in software delivery.
·Experience in the logistics or transportation sectors.
·Experience in process analysis and IT system implementation.
·Some familiarity with commercial software covering CRM, ERP, Financials, WMS, and TMS.
·Familiarity with managing testing and training activities for technical project implementations.
·Experience with change management.
·Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a team ethos.
·Excellent written and oral communication skills.
