My client is looking to appoint a Project Manager to join them on a permanent basis. My client is a construction main contractor who work across several sectors including agricultural, commercial, industrial, and civil engineering.

The successful candidate will have experience of steel framed buildings for both agricultural and commercial use together with associated external civil engineering works, mostly on design and build packages

General job duties and experience:

• Providing a predominantly site-based roll to oversee the running of numerous projects on a daily basis
• Organising/Controlling/Supervising Labour/workforce (20+ operatives)
• Setting Out
• Organising materials for the projects
• Co ordinating sub-contractors
• Meeting Clients regarding progress and ongoing requirements
• Good communication skills at all levels, both spoken and written
• Practical hands-on approach with a good eye for detail
• Good technical knowledge and be able to give precise instructions
• Self-motivated and used to working as part of a small team
• Produce program of works for each contract
• Provide information for Valuations/Final Accounts
• Responsible for Health and Safety on site, knowledge of CDM preferred
• Computer literate
