H9 Technical Recruitment are currently partnering with a rapidly expanding company within the Energy from Waste/ Green Energy sector in the search for a Project Manager.

The purpose of this role will be to support the Project Director across the construction and delivery of multiple large-scale Energy from Waste Power Plants across the UK.

This is a permanent role, based at the companies Head Office near to Crewe, with a highly competitive salary and benefits package on offer for the right candidate.

Travel to site will be required during construction phase.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Attend site meetings and coordinate construction and day to day operations of site
  • Source local suppliers/contractors
  • Ensure all work is being carried out in line with time, quality and cost targets.
  • Manage multiple 3rd party and subcontract companies involved throughout the project
  • Provide technical input and advice to overcome site issues
  • Manage the programme and scheduling of key project milestones
  • Provide budgets and cost control on all aspects of projects
  • Liaise with site HSE team to ensure safe working culture on-site
  • Manage the day-to-day activities of the assigned project
  • Support the Project Director and UK projects team

Skills & Qualifications

  • Project Management qualification / degree
  • AMPM / Prince 2
  • H&S Qualification - IOSH/NEBOSH
  • Experience delivering complex construction & engineering projects
  • Proven capability of successfully delivering energy from waste / CHP/ Gasification/ Power generation projects would be advantageous
