Supporting with a Programme of Property & Estates review and to establish best practice and a collaborative culture, whilst supporting some team members with APC mentoring. Seeking someone MRICS qualified able to start on a 12 month contract in March.

Description
Joint working towards Estates Strategy and Master Planning, working with the FM function to pull together an estates strategy
Look to implement a design scope
Rationalisation / decommissioning / rebuild / sale review
Space utilisation report
Implement a blue print for all locations in the Portfolio.
Work with procurement on specifications for standardisation of systems and materials. Recommend cost effective solutions.
Ensure that all lease agreements are up to date and help in a central repository
Asset Valuations / Insurance Inspections & rate reviews.
* Ensure asset valuations undertaken on an annual basis.
* Ensure insurance inspections undertaken.
* Ensure there is a drive towards rate evaluations to take best benefit of opportunities.
Ensure annual reviews are undertaken and support is given to finance as necessary
Projects:
Monitoring of project progress and budgets, and actively drive the programmes based on capital opportunities and needs.
Monthly progress reporting, monitoring progress and quality (report out & relevant meeting attendance).
Responsible for managing the estates team and monitoring resources.
Manage the selected professional team and the production of agreed deliverables.
Undertake a training review and produce a training schedule. Be a mentor, providing assistance to those working through their APC to achieve Chartered status.
Attending Board Meetings and any other operational / strategic meetings required by SYFR.
Site visits across the portfolio.
Responsible for Sustainability and looking at opportunities for with the wider Estates team to pull together a sustainability strategy.
Promote an understandng of Equality and Diversity and how it impacts on individual staff and responsibilities. Develop opportunities to increase understanding of D&I themes.
Profile
RICS Qualification
Relevant HND, Degree in suitable subject
3-5 years' experience in property
1-3 years' management experience a plus
Solid knowledge of office software such as Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
Understanding of CAFM systems is desirable (their use, function, operation)
