Senior Project Manager - Civils | Tier 1 Principle Contractor

They possess proven experience and deliver successful projects in a wide range of industries, including commercial, industrial, education, rail infrastructure and depots, airports, waste and energy.

Your new role
Due to organic growth, we are now looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager for the Civils business.

The Senior Project Manager is the most senior project based member of staff and is both an integral member of the Project Operations Team and the leader of the Team.
The Team is responsible for the effective and efficient running of the project throughout the delivery ensuring the project is planned, programmed and delivered on time to the satisfaction of the client and his professional team with respect to quality, safety, environmental impact and budget. Agree project targets with the Contracts Manager, and ensure progress is measured regularly and feedback provided through the Company reporting procedures.
Manage and support the production of a fully resourced Construction programme established from the tender programme.
Monitor progress and update the programme as required by the Contract.
Develop, Manage and Maintain the Site Management Plan.
Build develop and support the team.
Represent the Company and enhance its reputation.
To be a champion for improving HSEQ performance.

What you'll need to succeed
Extensive experience of working on major civils projects in the UK.
Proven technical and Project Management abilities
Strong organisational and Management skills
Knowledge of the requirements and implementation of CDM Regulations
Ability to produce Work Package Plans, Task Briefing Sheets, and implement safe systems of work
Detailed knowledge of Safety, Quality and Environmental issues relevant to the railway environment and electrification infrastructure
