My client are a North London Local Government Office who are seeking an experienced Project Manager to work within their New Homes Development sector.

This post will deliver a portfolio of council new build projects on schemes leading on all elements of development from feasibility to completion and contributes to achieving the council's corporate objective of building 550 new homes by 2022/23 and the pipeline beyond.

Experience of working in a development role in either another LA or RP would be desirable.

The New Build Team currently work from home and are likely to do so till at least March 2021 and even then return to an office based environment 5 days a week is currently unlikely. The expectation is that the successful applicant will still attend some site meetings and visits to the office but the majority of the role can be delivered virtually.

The duration of the post will be for an initial 3 - 6 months.

The postholder will have to clearly demonstrate experience of dealing with highly political schemes and building close relationships with councillors.
