Project Manager

Reporting directly into management, this is a new role within the business, that would suit a passionate PM who is looking to grow with a forward-thinking agency.

The successful candidate will hit the ground running with a positive can-do attitude. Previous knowledge and experiences of working within the industry will ensure the successful candidate can manage their own time effectively as well as the following:

Project deliverables and timelines - across both website projects and marketing activity

Studio time - internal Design and Development resource and freelancers

Account management - supporting the wider team with managing client comms and expectations

The successful candidate will be expected to work collaboratively alongside the wider internal team of Account Execs/Managers, Developers and Designers, ensuring the end product we deliver to our client’s is on time, within budget and of the highest quality.ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Brief your colleagues on the tasks at hand required to complete the project/campaign
  • Report into the wider team in weekly catch up meetings
  • Interface with clients and agency staff about the details of the project and its timings
  • Act as a link between the client and the agency and always act in the best interests of each
  • Responsible for the smooth running of project timelines, ensuring deliverables/milestones are met and client expectations are being managed. Providing rationale to clients when needed
  • Arrange and attend check-in points - coordinating timings between both client and agency
  • Assist in the daily tasks assigned by management
  • Responsible for coordinating studio time and sourcing external freelance resource when needed
  • Facilitate client meetings ensuring everything is set up appropriately (virtual and in-house when appropriate)
  • Produce and take ownership of project timelines - organise each project so all tasks are delivered on time and on budget
  • Write creative briefs for the studio when needed
  • Identify and manage risks within projects, bringing it to the attention of management, but taking ownership where possible
  • Conduct/manage the internal team to drive quality and deadlines, looking for areas to improve on processes and efficiencies
  • Support management in pitches
  • Raise project quotes and gain final approval from management before supplying to clients
  • Immerse yourself in our client portfolio
  • Connect with our clients, find out what makes them tick and what their challenges are
  • Showing a proactive attitude to our clients - showing a willingness and eagerness to understanding their audiences, markets and competition
  • Maintain strong client relationships by understanding their needs and consistently delivering high-quality work that exceeds their expectation
  • Take and share notes after client meetings, outlining next steps and actions
  • Be proactive in seeking and asking for opportunities to expand on briefs/SOWs
  • Ensure attention to detail is optimal at all times

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

2 years (minimum) Project Manager experience - preferably across the marketing/advertising/creative industries

Proven experience of taking ownership of projects - from start to finish

Including managing resource, time, budgets and quality of work

An understanding of digital marketing channels and the design and development processes of web builds

The ability to prioritise tasks (across multiple projects) and manage your own time, as well as others, is essential

Work towards tight deadlines - pro-active, punctual and well-organised

Willingness to go the extra mile to ensure the work we deliver is of the highest quality

Passionate and enthusiastic. Confident in nature

A typical day in the life of the successful candidate would include, but not be limited to, handling client communications, unpacking new business/campaign briefs - planning project SOW (inc. timings and internal/external resource), working collaboratively with the studio to manage project timelines and key deliverables/milestones and managing the client expectations throughout the process, reporting into management to improve internal processes and efficiencies.
