Reaching Out Across Durham (ROAD) is an exciting employment and social inclusion programme in County Durham jointly funded by the European Social Fund and The National Lottery Community Fund. Working to support people experiencing barriers and complex needs move closer toward work and training opportunities.

About the role
Working with the Employment Programmes Manager the post holder will manage the achievement of performance, quality and compliance targets by managing and leading 6 partners and internal interdisciplinary team of staff to work effectively, cohesively and deliver a high quality service to beneficiaries. The Project Manager will be an enabler and motivator who enjoys succeeding with and through others.

You will be responsible for managing the internal and external delivery through a range of third sector partners, including financial, digital and health specialisms.

This role is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure endorsed by the Disclosure and Barring Service.

A bit about you
They are looking for an enthusiastic individual with experience in a successful employment programme coordination and implementation. You will have effective budget planning and management skills as well as proven experience in successfully and consistently achieving/exceeding programme performance targets.

You’ll thrive working in a busy and friendly environment and will be a good facilitator, orator and enabler with strong organisational skills. Having strong interpersonal and communication skills is essential whilst being able to maintain confidentiality at all times.
