We are looking for a Senior Program manager to lead multiple business-related projects from initial feasibility & requirements through to implementation. The projects will leverage large cross functional teams to design and set up new businesses and related infrastructure in emerging markets touching virtually all areas of Apple’s business. An appreciation of business context, and balance of commercial and technical understanding are required along with an ability to operate proactively and autonomously in a highly matrixed organization.

Key Qualifications

Strong aptitude and interest in commercial side of business Understanding of Sales / Distribution models and /or Retail environment Deep Project/Programme management experience working in consumer sales / geo expansion Good understanding of new technical concepts An understanding of the components and considerations required when building corporate systems (e.g. key architecture components, security, scalability etc.) Experience with corporate systems The ability to support and drive quality into business analysis – process analysis and design. The ability to coordinate cross functional SMEs to jointly produce project outputs (e.g. requirements, test plans...)  

Description

Autonomously manage multiple projects of varying scale and complexity, in parallel. Proactively drive the plan, actions and delivery throughout Lead cross-functional teams with consultative direction from management Working with subject matter experts across the business, identify and clarify cross functional business requirements (Legal, Tax, Finance, Sales, Supply Chain, Service & Support) Review and develop business requirements, ensure clarity and establish expectations for services requested Facilitate process development and clarification across functions to ensure project goals are met Develop and execute project plans, defining scope, schedule, deliverables, resource and cost Anticipate issues and manage risks Proactively drive and support prioritization of team activities and drive resolution of issues/dependencies across all areas of the project Effectively communicate status and issues to team members, management and other project stakeholders Manage governance process of projects in EMEIA & WW (Project, Programme, Sponsors & Steering) Facilitate focused, concise meetings (Workstreams, Project, Programme & Steering) Coordinate activities of others associated with the project, including supervisors and individual contributors Participate in the continual development of the EMEIA Sales Expansion function
