Project Manager Barrow-in-Furness Competitive Salary Boden Group are currently recruiting for a large Facilities Management Client who have contracts all over the UK and are looking for new talent to progress through the business, Our Client currently looking for a Project Manager Based in Barrow In Furness, To deliver individual large projects and small works building projects, Mainly refurbishment or new works within an agreed budget. Our Client is looking for a candidate who is self-motivated and able to motivate others, it is essential that the candidate has experience in a similar role and can hit the ground running. The candidate must have a proven track record in the successful delivery of multitask building services related projects, they also need to have the ability to continually keep up to date with all health and safety and hold the relevant qualifications. Job Description Prepare detailed and accurate specification briefs. Manage quotations submission to customer and gain approvals/purchase orders. Appoint and manage consultants and contractors. Attend regular approval meetings with Clients Produce weekly and monthly project plans and financial summary for clients. Prepare budget costs and ongoing budgetary control. Manage work through to effective completion and submit for invoicing. Ensure all works are managed in accordance with clients standard operating procedures and Health & Safety regulations. Ensure a weekly housekeeping check is completed of the building and grounds applicable. Co-ordinate the procurement and resource planning within the requirements of the contract needs. Manage all Health and Safety matters. Take responsibility for the successful project completion and formal handover. Candidate Profile Proven and extensive experience within a similar role. Operational and Technical Experience Technical expertise, qualifications or apprenticeship Required Proven experience in Project Management. Ability to plan and organise work effectively to meet changing environments and needs. Ability to liaise with and supervise contractors. Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and safe working practices. Demonstrable skills in working in client facing roles. Health & Safety experience to ensure the effective running of projects.
