Citizens Advice offers confidential advice online, over the phone, and in person, for free. Through our national network of charities, we give people the knowledge and the confidence they need to find their way forward – whoever they are, and whatever their problem.

We particularly welcome applications from disabled and Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) candidates as BAME and disabled people are currently under-represented throughout Citizens Advice. We are a member of the race equality campaign at Business in the Community, the Prince’s responsible business network and are committed to improving employment opportunities for ethnic minorities across the UK. We also welcome applications from, LGB and Trans and non binary candidates.

We have made a positive commitment to employing disabled people and guarantee to interview all disabled candidates who meet the minimum essential criteria for the role as set out in role profiles.

This role is part of a team with responsibility for coordinating and supporting delivering of Citizen Advice's largest funded service. Help to Claim is an exciting, fast paced and high profile programme that makes a difference to peoples' lives every single day.

We are looking for someone with extensive programme management experience to join the leadership team of the Help to Claim programme. You'll work collaboratively with the large and dispersed team to ensure that the service is delivered to time, budget and quality. You'll lead on the governance and strategic planning of the programme and support the continuous development of the service and the team.  With line management responsibility and a position on the leadership team, you will play a proactive role in creating a positive working environment in which equality and diversity are well managed and staff can do their best.

This role is maternity cover and can currently be offered on a fixed term basis until 31 March 2022 due to the programme's current funding agreement. There is the possibility of an extension to the fixed term contract if further funding is secured.
