Senior Project Manager
To manage efficiently the building operations of TGQ Phase 3 in accordance with the company’s Health, Safety Policy and Build Quality expectations.Delivering the project on time, safely, within budget and to delighted customers and occupiers.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
·Ensure that the programmed dates are achieved for individual plots and sites as a whole.
·Programme and schedule works in liaison with the Project Director and other team members and closely monitor these programmes
·Ensure Project Managers and Site Managers have a proper understanding of the construction programme dates and are managed to maintain the construction programme.
·Liaise with Statutory Authorities to ensure all inspections are completed and all service connections completed in accordance with the construction programme.
·Ensure that all works are constructed to the highest standard of quality and to Berkeley St Joseph requirements in accordance with the Build Quality Assurance procedures.
·Provide regular reports to the business and group to update on progress, commercial, technical and quality aspects of the project .Managing and liasing with these disciplines will be required.
·Assess the quality of work at all stages of construction and ensure that all Contractors and suppliers are capable of achieving the required / specified standards.
·Conclude the appointment and design responsibility of the relevant Contractors, review and manage the various package interfaces, monitor off site activities and lead-in, manage and monitor the works on site and the handover process.
·Produce, read, interrogate and familiarise oneself with specifications and drawings produced by the design team.
·Ensure that all building operations are carried out in a safe and coordinated manner and with all relevant regulations.
·Ensure that a Health and Safety Checklist has been agreed before site commences and action accordingly.All site works to be in accordance with BSJ processes and procedures.
·Ensure that all Contractors have been pre-mobilised and that there is a formal progress monitoring process in place
·Chair, attend and minute meetings with internal team members and external Contractors, design team or other relevant parties
·Ensure site presentation is maintained to a high standard in order to maximise sales potential.
·Ensure that sites operate efficiently and costs that are affected by project management are contained within budget.
·Ensure all Health, Safety and Sustainability project plans are in place and reviewed accordingly throughout the life of the project.
·You will be responsible for promoting and complying with the 5 key focus areas and values of the Berkeley Vision.
·Lead the project team through planning, managing, monitoring and co-ordinating the works packages.
