This is a 6-month contract position. We are looking for someone available at short notice idealy, the position will be outside IR35. 

In this vital position you will take full ownership of creating and executing a plan to evaluate alternative supplier offerings. You will require strong project management experience with an in-depth understanding of the supply chain. The role will require working very closely with R&D, Supply Chain, Operations, and suppliers.

We are looking for a strong project manager who has experience of managing projects involving complex industrial products. You will need an understanding of supply chain and dealing with very challenging deadlines.

They have recently moved into a brand-new state of the art facility and are re-evaluating all aspects of their supply chain. You will need to drive the project liaising with different departments internally and external suppliers and advise on areas to make positive change. You will work closely with supply chain to deliver a seamless supplier / component changeover as well as ensuring that costs incurred by changes to the supply chain are kept to a minimum.

You will need to create and execute a supplier evaluation plan, making sure it is in line with project timelines. Experience required is as follows…

• Significant project management experience.
• Experience of managing projects involving complex industrial products
• Experience working within the supply chain
• Experience dealing with very challenging deadlines and high levels of uncertainty
