Interim Move Manager Required - Bristol
Your new role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced project manager to work alongside the Senior management Team taking a lead role in space utilisation and management across a leading UK university building. You will be acting as the lead in planning and coordinating the refurbishment of spaces (including purchasing equipment and furniture) and relocation of staff and postgraduate students across the department block. You will be the first point of contact for staff and other building users in the process of relocating to new offices and facilities.
What you'll need to succeed
For this role you will need exceptional communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure, to cost and time constraints. It is essential to have a high level of ability to self-manage and self-motivate. You will be well organised and have a proven track record for managing several projects with competing demands with the ability to effectively prioritise.
You will be able to develop, maintain and monitor project plans, including progress against milestones, deliverables and budget. You will be able to plan, organise and coordinate all aspects of the removal process for relocating staff, to include ensuring the facilities of the now location (power, data, telephones etc) are available at the appropriate time, removals contractors are organised appropriately and that the arrangements fit with user needs. At times, this may involve coordinating several moves consecutively or concurrently.
