Community Southwark is recruiting for an experienced Project Manager, with excellent communication skills and a proactive work ethic.

  • Responsible to: Director
  • Salary: £35,350
  • Contract Duration: until 30th Sep 2022 with possibility of extension
  • Hours: 35hrs per week

Community Southwark is the infrastructure organisation for the Voluntary and Community Sector in Southwark.

We aim to bring about positive change for people living in Southwark by championing, supporting and working with the wonderful and diverse organisations and individuals that make up the voluntary and community sector (VCS) in Southwark.

The Project Manager will be expected to:

  • manage 4-5 Officers, running different projects supporting the local Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS)
  • prepare and submit funding applications in support of existing and new projects aiding the Southwark VCS
  • spend around 40 workdays per annum on paid consultancy projects requested by our members and others

The ideal candidate will have strong project management and digital skills, with experience of working in small charities.
