About the Company
With over a 100 years industry experience, this is a trusted civil engineering business that you would be crazy to not want to work for. Due to continuous growth, they are looking for a 2x Project Managers to join their team, one in London and one in Northampton. There are over 20 sites at each location, so you would travel from site-to-site (company car provided)
About the Role
- Assist the estimating dept with construction methodology, materials resources & programming
- Production of contract & target programmes
- Produce & review quality & risk management plans
- production of all site specific construction phase safety plans
- Review of QS procurement schedule
- Co-ordinate specialist sub-contractors (i.e design, electrical, piling)
- Input with Estimator, QS, Site Manager as to which subbies are used
- Chairing site meetings with client & management teams
- Co-ordinate internal labour & management resources
- Assist SM to manage site through construction phase safety
- Assist cost/value throughout the project with the QS
- Monitor programme & cost/value through the project with the QS
- Initiate end of contract review
About You
- Must have Civil Project Management experience
- Must have a thorough understanding of ECC/NEC type of contracts
- Relevant CSCS cards
- Minimum of CITB 5 day Health & Safety course.
- Commercial awareness
- Full understanding of current H & S legislation, including CDM
- Sound judgement and problem solving skills
- Project and people management
- Knowledge of commercial management
