What you’ll do
We are looking for a customer-centric Project Manager experienced in running Agile and PRINCE2 projects. You’ll be joining the PMO, reporting to the Head of Programme & Project Management in Business Change & Transformation.

As Project Manager at Optivo, you will be involved in making major contributions across our organisation, working on a variety of interesting and challenging projects using different methodologies and approaches to improve the business. You’ll have full responsibility for the management and successful delivery of multiple projects of medium to high complexity in line with Optivo project management standards.  

 What to expect

  • You’ll be involved from the very start of a proposal through the delivery of the project and ensuring benefits are realised. 
  • Working closely with a variety of stakeholders across Optivo to understand business need and deliver brilliant results. Develop and manage these relationships across the business ensuring regular and accurate communication.
  • Build and lead project teams, ensure they are inclusive environments, and motivated. Facilitating project team meetings to review and monitor progress.
  • Ensure project deliverables are completed within agreed cost, timescale and budgets and meet customer needs.

What you’ll need.

  • You’ll have experience of Project Management
  • Delivering projects using PRINCE2 along with a PRINCE2 qualification
  • Delivering projects using Agile
  • In a multiple project environment.
  • Have strong stakeholder management experience
  • Be proficient in project planning, monitoring and in project risk management
  • You’ll be familiar with contract negotiation and have the ability to deliver exceptional customer service and the ability to design and deliver customer centric processes and services

How you’ll do this
The PMO operates a “combi worker” working approach. You’ll be able to work from home the majority of the time with the remaining time in our Sittingbourne office.
