When a child is diagnosed with cancer life becomes full of fear, for them and their family. Fear of treatment, but also of families being torn apart, overwhelming money worries, of having nowhere to turn, no one to talk to.

At Young Lives vs Cancer, we help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. And you could be a part of the team making it happen.

Are you a trend setter in using project management tools and techniques to deliver services to those who need support?

Here at Young Lives Vs Cancer we strive to improve the services we deliver to children, young people and their families. We are looking to build on what we do and develop new ways of delivering better outcomes for those we support; and in a post pandemic world we are having to work harder to attract new sources of funding to achieve this. The Senior Project Manager role brings together these two opportunities, working with a wide range of professionals from the Director of Services & Influencing to frontline workers on a variety of projects.

You should have experience of operational development and programme and project management and thrive on working on multiple projects simultaneously at pace. This is an exciting role looking at improving how we support children and young people with cancer and their families and ensuring the choices we make have the biggest impact for them. So what are you waiting for? Come and join our project management office today!

What we offer:

In return for your commitment, we offer a great reward package, which includes generous annual leave entitlement, pension scheme and season ticket loan.

We are always looking for talented people from all backgrounds, to join us and help improve the lives of children and young people with cancer and their families. We particularly want to encourage people from under-represented groups to step forward and apply to work or volunteer with Young Lives Vs Cancer.

Young Lives Vs Cancer is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment.
