We are looking for an experienced Freelance Project Manager to work with an award-winning global public relations firm.
Responsibilities will include:
• Client service – maintain the highest levels of client service across the account to provide an
effective, enjoyable, first class customer service and experience.
• Project management – meticulous planning, organising, controlling and motivating of multiple
resources to deliver tasks, to meet project objectives. To achieve this, we take an agile approach
to delivery. This involves face-to-face communications, regular short team scrums/catch-ups,
clear direction and delegation that align to the overall project plan. Upon completion you would
evaluate performance and use learning to improve the process.
• Financial control and commercial rigour – end-to-end control of the budget process. Fully scope,
create, evolve and control the budget throughout its lifecycle. Deliver appropriate margin provide
regular fee forecast update in line with timing changes and provide a final budget reconciliation
upon completion.
• Continuous improvement – adapt ways-of-working and our services to always deliver the best
results and experience for our clients
Experience and skills:
• Experience in a similar agency environment, managing and delivering multiple projects and
campaigns across a number of client accounts, with combined total annual revenue above £750,000
• Planning and managing sizable campaigns with large project teams and budgets over £300,000.
• Client facing project management with excellent client service and exceptional project delivery skills.
• Working with creative and content teams to deliver integrated and award-winning projects
• Track record of working with Client/Account Directors delivering financial growth, profitability and
control across the business or area managed
• Experience of digital, integrated and campaign projects
• Experience of line management
• Working with clients, taking and distilling briefs, producing estimates and proposals, whilst spotting
and capitalising on new business opportunities
• Participating and leading project meetings with senior clients and internal stakeholders, confident in
articulating your views, taking the lead and recognising what’s important to achieve a successful
outcome and how to make it happen
