Role description:

  • Due to growth and demand we have opportunities working with Government Sector clients on Defence projects. Within this account the volume of projects has grown steadily, and we are in a position to expand the current established team. 
  • Working on this government framework alongside the Associate Project manager you shall collaborate to help manage Framework delivery and account direction. 
  • You shall agree objectives, communicate status and facilitate resolution and risks 
  • To ensure effective delivery of the programme you shall manage contracts and performance of subconsultants. 
  • To maintain the pace and service level it is essential that you have Defence or complex project experience.

Role accountabilities:

 

 

  • Accountable for delivery of projects within agreed budget
  • Responsible for our relationship with client contacts
  • Responsible for setting programme delivery strategy in consultation with key stakeholders
  • Responsible for establishing programme delivery plans and appropriate control mechanisms to assure delivery of Framework benefits

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven project management experience successfully delivering defence or infrastructure projects
  • Experience in delivering MMC and Sustainability solutions as part of capital projects and interest in developing these with clients
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Relevant professional qualification or chartered status
  • Desired - Relevant Programme Management Accreditation – such as MSP Practitioner or equivalent
  • Prince 2 practitioner a benefit
