Join the City of Progress-Makers.
The City of London Corporation is the City of opportunities, diversity, social impact and commercial influence. Our work touches lives not just in the Square Mile or even in London, but across the UK and beyond. The work we do is a catalyst for economic and social progress and you could play an important part.
As a Major Programmes Analyst in our new programme management function (PMO), you’ll help to shape the City of tomorrow. You’ll be a key member of a small team with PMO analyst responsibilities across our major capital programmes. These range from consolidation of the City’s wholesale markets, through to the creation of a new Museum of London, and the redevelopment of our Fleet Street Estate to include new facilities for the Police and Courts & Tribunals Service.
We’ll look to you to project manage workstreams within programmes. The documentation and analysis you provide will enable the right decisions to be made. Your varied responsibilities will include creating and maintaining programme plans, risk registers, plus dependency mapping, report writing and process improvement.
Whether it’s PRINCE2, Agile, MSP or a similar methodology, you’ll bring to the role proven working knowledge of project, programme and portfolio management tools and techniques. You have a varied track record in programme/portfolio analysis, plus good experience of managing projects within complex major programmes.
While your skills in planning and analysis can’t be questioned, what really sets you apart is your flair for communicating complex project management issues clearly to a range of audiences.
In return, you can look forward to a competitive salary, excellent benefits and a wide range of development opportunities in this most diverse and challenging of organisations.
Closing date: 12 noon on Monday 6 December 2021
