We are looking for an experienced officer who has credible experience in project management and has a proven track record of successfully leading the delivery of project outcomes.

Supporting the Senior Project Manager (Commercial) and working as part Corporate Property & Projects, who are responsible for devising schemes, scoping, writing specifications & managing contracts, in pursuance of achieving the Corporate Aims and Objectives of the authority.

You will be responsible for advising on opportunities to adopt a commercial approach to other areas of the business and deliver projects that improve local places and generate sustainable income, along with:

  • Delivering projects from inception through to completion
  • Effectively collaborating with external contacts and key stakeholders.
  • Undertaking client responsibility functions in the direction of key corporate projects associated with delivering the growth of the town

To be proficient in this role you will have experience in identifying planning, leading, and supporting capital investment programmes and place based initiatives. In addition you will have experience of regeneration, growth and/or infrastructure    (including securing inward investment, development and regeneration)
